SAANVI SOOD - Youngest Mountaineer

In the world, who at tender age of 8 years only, summit three high peaks of the world i.e. Mt elbrus (Russia Highest peak 5642 mtr on 30^th July 2023), Mt Kosciusko (Australia Highest peak 2228 mtr on dated 27 may 2023), Mt Kilimanjaro (Africa Highest peak 5895 mtr on dated 23 July 2022) along with Mount Everest base camp on dated 9^th June 2022. She climbed Russia peak at night in minus 25 degree temperature and summit Australia peak in minus 12degree temperature.

Till now she inspires and motivates thousands of kids and youngsters with her achievement. She is climbing peaks along with her father and further our (FATHER-DAUGHTER DUO) also written one slogan to motivate society i.e.“RESPECT YOUR PARENTS –SUPPORT YOUR KIDS”

Climbing peaks in adverse climate conditions is an act of utmost Bravery and supreme courage.

Recently, in 2023, when there is war going between Russia and Ukraine, Saanvi Sood requested her father for climbing Russia highest peak Mtr Elbrus. She knows if she summits, then she will make our country proud internationally and also there will be new world record.
After All safety measures, planning and approvals, Saanvi went for Russia along with her father on 23^rd July 2023 without any fear of war circumstances, just to represent our nation and to host Indian flag at the top of the peak.
Earlier they had a plan to reach at top on 28^th morning, but due to extreme bad weather conditions, heavy snowfall and thunderstorms, summit night was postponed to 30^th July 2023.
On last day, Saanvi left for the summit at1midnight along with her father and guides, she was the only kid in the group of 150 trekkers from all over the world. Temperature was below freezing (-25 degree), she carried artificial oxygen throughout the trek due to high altitude.
Unfortunate same night, in early hours of trekking, her father slipped down from the mountain and started pain in his leg, but Saanvi was unaware about same as she was little ahead along with guides.
Through walkie –talkie, her father passed message having words :Beta ji- I am coming at back , don’t wait for me , just focus on your goal and your dream, these 6 hours are very crucial and important of your life , Be safe, be Strong , Be determined. I know, with your bravery act, you can make our whole country proud.
With her determination and bravery, Saanvi continuously trek for 8 hours (midnight 1- 9am) under freezing temperature, with artificial oxygen, steep slopes, very high wind, wearing heavy kit and crampons.
Leaving her father back, Saanvi alone, early morning 7 am on dated 30^th July 2023, finally Saanvi hoisted Indian flag at top peak of Russia i.e Mt Elbrus and becomes the youngest mountaineer girl in the world and make our country proud.
With her bravery , On same day, she also make one more new world Record and also becomes the youngest mountaineer kid in the world who successfully summit Three peaks of the world i.e Mt. Elbrus , Mt Kosciuszko , Mt Kilimanjaro along with Mount Everest base camp at tender age of 8 years only.

Saanvi has a firm believe, that any girl can do anything, if she is determined, focused and mentally strong.

Above journey of Saanvi was true act of utmost bravery and her shear patriotism for her nation.

Inspired by the movie Everest, she embarked on a mission from June 2022to Promote Girl empowerment, proving that, with strong desire and a heartfelt dream, anyone can overcome the challenges to achieve their goals. Despite facing extreme challenges, Saanvi triumphed to break all the records and raise the national flag on these international peaks. In her entire trekking, she raised slogans "BHARAT MATA KI JAI". It was her enthusiasm and patriotism that made, even the foreigners resonate the same "BHARAT MATA KI JAI". Saanvi said that, her motive is to empower girl child and to make them aware about fitness. She also wrote one slogan "FEEL FREE IN FREE INDIA".
