About Africa

I got another opportunity to climb the Africa’s highest peak MOUNT KILIMANJARO. I got an invitation from a company to climb it for the title youngest Asian Girl.

With my parent’s motivation and of course the motivation from our School director sir encourages me to do it. After discussion, we plan for MOUNT KILIMANJARO, which is the highest peak of Africa. Children below 10 years are not allowed to go, but my history of climbing MOUNT EVEREST BASE CAMP help me to get me approval for it.

My Journey

We started out journey on 17th of July 2022 and summit Mount Kilimanjaro on 23rd July Early morning around Morning 11:30 am IST.

This trek was totally different and hurdles were more as compared to Everest Base Camp. The challenges I faced during this trek like

  •  Weather conditions were very hard
  • No proper toilet
  • We used to stay in tents
  • No proper network
  • Mostly it was rocky area
  • Climbed BARRANCO Wall, This wall is 257 meters steep wall also called as Death Wall.
  • Crossed lava tower, a 300 feet tall rock formation that was formed from lava.
  • The temperature was freezing during my summit night and oxygen was very less

Target Achieved.

But I want to do it anyhow, so I keep on climbing though during my summit night I suffered with low oxygen, they supplied two times oxygen to me while trekking, even my hands and feet got freeze.

After crossing all these hurdles, I hosted our INDIAN FLAG at 11:30 AM according to Indian Standard Timing. What I felt at that time, I can’t express it in words, I felt at the top.
